At the end of your Data Essentials training at Jedha, you'll be able to :

Data Visualization & Data Mining

In this first module, you will take your first steps in data analysis and business intelligence. You will start by learning one of the most popular data mining and data visualization tools: Tableau.

Skills mastered

Import data into Tableaufrom different sources.
Data formatting: creation of visualizations and dashboards to facilitate data analysis.
Data Mining: advanced data mining using Tableau.

SQL & Cloud Computing

SQL is an essential language for manipulating databases. In this module, you will learn the basics of SQL as well as more advanced uses: subqueries, joins, and aggregation functions. You will also learn about Cloud Computing, with Google Cloud Platform, and how data is structured in an organization.

Skills mastered

Basic SQL queries:filter results with WHERE, sort results with ORDER BY, add conditions with AND and OR, get unique results with DISTINCT.
Advanced SQL queries: perform joins with JOIN or calculations with COUNT, SUM, AVG and ROUND queries, segment your data into different groups with GROUP BY, filter your results with HAVING.
Cloud Computing basics: use of Cloud Computing services & creation of a Data Lake with Google Cloud Computing.
Operation of a classic infra data: role of a Data Lake and a Data Warehouse, creation of an ETL.

Python & Statistics

In this module, you will review the fundamental principles of statistics, which are essential for data analysis. You will also learn how to program in Python, as modern statistical studies are done with this language. Finally, as a lot of data is generated via the web, you will learn how to conduct A/B tests to optimize apps or websites.

Skills mastered

Basics of statistics: fundamentals, calculation of mean, median, variation, Z-Score, confidence interval.
Python basics: create variables, write conditions and loops, import & manipulate databases using the Pandas library.
Creation of A/B tests, to optimize an app or a website.

Machine Learning

Make way for Artificial Intelligence. In this module, you will take your first steps in Machine Learning. You will learn how to perform regressions in Python and build classification models. At the end of the module, you will be able to make your first predictions on complex data sets!

Skills mastered

Basics of Machine Learning: models, applications, ML project workflow.
Linear regressions in Python, with the Scikit Learn library and matplotlib for visualization.
Logistic regression and classification in Python.
Decision trees and Random Forest.

Final project

This is the time to put into practice everything you have just learned by analyzing a dataset of your choice. You will perform predictive analysis using Machine Learning algorithms in Python. You will present your results in a simple and easy-to-understand way to your class using the Data Visualization tools seen at the beginning of the course.

Process data and make predictions using Machine Learning models.
Analyze data and report visually.
