Supported by the Caisse des Dépôts et des Consignations, the Compte Personnel de Formation (CPF) is a financing lever for all professionals wishing to enhance their skills. By amassing rights based on your hours worked, you can consult "My training account"to find out how much you're entitled to, and choose the certified training that suits you best.

Who can benefit from the CPF? 

The CPF is intended for all working people aged 16 and over, whether you are currently employed or looking for work. To take advantage of it, you simply need to have had some professional experience, whether it comes from an internship, a sandwich course, a temporary assignment or a salaried contract. Each stage of your professional career is valued and contributes to the eligibility and accumulation of your CPF rights.

How does the CPF balance work?

How is the CPF funded? 

Every year, between January and June, your Personal Training Account is updated according to the length of time you have been working. Here are a few indications, although they do not cover all situations, of the amounts to which different statuses may be entitled:

• Full-time or part-time: up to €500/year, to a maximum of €5,000.
• Low-skilled employees or employees with an employment obligation: up to €800/year and up to a maximum of €8,000.

Note that some companies may choose to top up your CPF balance. What's more, these training funds are tax-free .

How can I top up my CPF if I don't have enough rights?

Si votre CPF ne couvre pas l'intégralité de vos frais de formation, d'autres solutions existent. Des entités telles que France Travail, votre région et Transition Pro peuvent venir compléter votre financement. Vous augmentez significativement vos chances d'obtenir des aides conséquentes de ces entités si vous utilisez votre CPF en complément. Informez toujours votre conseiller de votre solde CPF pour maximiser vos chances.

How long does it take to register for training with the CPF? 

The advantage of the CPF is its rapid funding process. However, to guarantee your place, don't forget to submit your application 11 days before the start of the course .

Comment fonctionne le reste à charge obligatoire instauré en 2024 ? 

Depuis le 2 mai 2024, le gouvernement a instauré un reste à charge obligatoire, appelé "participation financière obligatoire", de 100€ (sauf exceptions détaillées ci-dessous).

Le reste à payer (ou reste à charge) correspond au montant qu’il vous reste à payer par vous-même, après déduction de vos droits CPF et d'autres aides publiques.

Depuis la réforme, ce reste à charge doit être supérieur à 100€. Concrètement, si vous avez 1000€ de droits CPF, et que votre formation coûte 1000€, vous ne pourrez pas la payer entièrement avec votre CPF : vous pourrez mobiliser 900€ de droits CPF et devrait payer 100€ de votre poche.

Si votre reste à charge était déjà supérieur à 100€, vous n'êtes pas impacté par la réforme.

Dans quel cas peut-on être exonéré de la participation financière obligatoire ?

• Si vous êtes demandeur d’emploi
• Si votre employeur participe au financement de votre formation.
• Si votre OPCO ou une branche professionnelle participe au financement de votre formation.

• Si vous mobilisez vos droits dans le cadre de votre Compte professionnel de prévention (C2P)
• Si vous bénéficiez d’un abondement « accident du travail ou maladie professionnelle » (AT/MP)

Pour consulter le solde de votre CPF, et l'utiliser pour acheter une formation, vous aurez besoin d'un accès FranceConnect+ : pour le moment, seule L’Identité Numérique La Poste permet d'avoir un tel accès.

Les démarches pour obtenir votre Identité Numérique La Poste peuvent être effectuées à 100% en ligne avec une pièce d’identité et votre smartphone ! Si vous rencontrez la moindre difficulté, ou souhaitez être accompagné dans cette démarche, vous pouvez vous rendre dans un bureau de poste sans rendez-vous pour effectuer les démarches (en savoir plus). Il suffit de vous munir d'une pièce d'identité !

First of all, book an appointment appointment with our admissions team to prepare your registration. There are 5 main steps to using your Compte Professionnel de Formation:

1. Log in to your CPF space.
2. Search for "Jedha" in the "Training search" section.
3. Specify your training method.

5. Indicate your training dates and submit your registration form.

Once you have submitted your application, our admissions team will check it. At the end of this stage, a training contract will be sent to you. If you don't find the right course, session or format during your search, make an appointment directly with the admissions team.

Are civil servants entitled to CPF?

If you work in the civil service, you benefit from the CPF. If you work full-time, 24 hours are added to your account each year, up to a maximum of 150 hours. These hours can then be converted into euros.

Can I use my CPF when I retire? 

Once retired, you can no longer use your CPF rights, which are reserved for professional use.
