Data Management & Governance

In this module, you will review the fundamental principles of statistics, which are essential for data analysis. You will also learn how to program in Python, as modern statistical studies are done with this language. Finally, as a lot of data is generated via the web, you will learn how to conduct A/B tests to optimize apps or websites.

Skills mastered

Data Governance:founding principles, strategy design, roadmap definition and choice of performance indicators.
Data Management: best practices in data management and founding principles of Data Quality and documentation (MetaData).
Data monetization: strategy and best practices to follow.

From Data to Product Data

In this module, you will learn how to use Product Management to drive your Data strategy and get results faster and more efficiently. You will discover how to adapt agile methods to the particularities of Data projects. Unlike software engineering, Data projects require a deeper research phase and more flexibility.

Skills mastered

Product Management basics:create and validate opportunity hypotheses (via SWOT analysis and User Research), define a PRD (Product Requirement Document), an MVP (Minimum Viable Product), build a reliable roadmap and a feedback loop.
Agile methods adapted to Data projects: from the Scrum method to the Spotify model.

Lead your Data Team

Leading a Data team requires more than just technical skills. In this module, you will develop the leadership skills necessary to achieve your objectives and instill a true Data culture in your company You will learn to know yourself better in order to better communicate and convince your interlocutors.

Skills mastered

Knowledge of the different types of leaderships, in order to adapt its communication according to the situation.
Negotiation and non-violent communication, to better dialogue and work with on-site, remote and external teams.

Final project

In this last module, you will use all what you have learned about Docker and Kubernetes to put your Machine Learning model into production. You will choose among 4 projects proposed by the Jedha team to build a Data architecture, make it scalable, build the whole data pipeline starting from the application and monitor the whole thing to make sure there are no bugs.

Robustly deploy a Machine Learning application.
Build a Data pipeline.
Automate and monitor your entire data pipeline.
